Kharon's Party

We are all going to die. This is true.

In Russia (and let's face it, in Christian culture and many other countries), we have a controversial attitude toward death. We don't like to talk about it, so much so that in the moments when grief comes, we are entirely discouraged and confused. It seems wrong as hell to me.

In some cultures, there are characters like Kharon. They fulfill their arch-typical function of telling you how to deal with death. That's why I chose this image.

But Kharon's archaic appearance was accompanied by rather sullen and even frightening attributes. But why scare what is inevitable?

And so Kharon, too, sees no reason to fear the inevitable. And to make it easier for us to accept death, he decided to change his workplace a bit. He added dye to the water, got an inflatable unicorn, and pulled out of the world of the living sign of the London Underground: well, like, you saw what's going on there? It's hell!

Oh, and don't forget your soul coin!
