Geometry of nature
The purpose of the visual research is to see whether

The Textbook of Geometry became the main metaphor for my visual exploration, the format of the book corresponds to the size of a geometry textbook of the 1920s. A similar mounting method is also used that textbooks of those years had - a soft spine covered with fabric
and two hard covers
The structure of the visual study is divided into several parts, each of which corresponds to a specific geometric shape most often found in the artist’s works, a total of 5 chapters: square, rectangle,
circle, oval and triangle.
All illustrations are translated into monochrome, so I wanted to focus the reader’s attention on the form
Each chapter examines natural objects that have one of the forms and at the end of the chapter examples of Malevich’s works are given, telling how important the figure played in his work
The main text is structured according to the shape of the figures in question, which makes it not only informative, but also serves as navigation through the book
The transition from light to dark marks the end of the chapter
All captions for images are placed at the end of chapters, and images
and all additions are also rotated to separate types of information
Inside the book there are problems on constructing figures and their properties, which helps to give an accurate definition of each figure
Each chapter also contains collages comparing
compositions of Malevich’s works and nature
All color photographs and works are highlighted in a separate block at the end of the book
