The illustration of a tigress with cubs was cut out by hand, assembled and glued, then processed in Photoshop. The illustration uses special watercolor fills (wet) to create an imitation of wool. And the paper from MI-TEINTES by Canson has a velvety surface that perfectly conveys the black stripes on the fur.

The illustration for the postcard was specially developed as part of helping tigers and for the presentation of a new book by the Boomba book publishing house about a tiger cub by author Ekaterina Zgurskaya at the non/fiction 2024 book fair.
