Blender Glass Pine Flow 🌲🌲🌲
Test Number 025
Glass Christmas Tree with all wishes
I gathered a bunch of references from Pinterest. This month, I probably spent more time there than ever before, drawn in by the glass effects and shimmering semi-plastic models with gradient colors.
Blender flow
Here, it’s simple: I created lines and added a screw modifier to shape them, then added subdivision and converted it to a mesh.
Nodes flow
I implemented displacement through glass nodes in the RGB spectrum, which is visible in the render, plus a mix with the standard shader to give it a greenish tint.
Figma flow
Here, I played with the Pinterest-style posters and the desire to create a futuristic Y2K style to complement the glass and scratches. It’s straightforward: primitives and composition assembly.
Lighting
An important aspect of the lighting was to emphasize the edges and not overdo it in the middle of the model to avoid overexposure. Initially, I wanted to bring the poster closer, but that would have sacrificed important backlighting, so I moved it slightly back and launched the render at 256 samples and 4K resolution.
