For the first time in the history of the Republic of Abkhazia,
the Sukhumi Marathon will take place.
Run through the historical centre of Sukhum surrounded by several thousand like-minded people. Challenge yourself and set personal records or support the participants and plunge into the atmosphere of the largest sports event of Abkhazia on 27 October 2024. The sporting event organised by the Moscow-based team "Running History", with the support of the State Committee on Youth and Sports of the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as the Triathlon Federation of the Republic of Abkhazia.
Participants will face two races: 42.2 km and 5 km, with a children's race of 400 and 800 meters for the youngest ones. A memorable route through the most beautiful streets of the city. Impressive views of world-famous sights, most importantly, the support of fans.
