Project Description
I was approached by a customer with the following task: to draw a winter map for ski slopes in one of the resorts of Siberia. I was provided with photographs of the mountain itself, taken from a height, a topographic map of the area and an old map showing only part of the mountain. New lifts and trails were being completed at the resort, so it was important to show their location. It was also necessary to mark on the map the existing services and buildings at the foot of the mountain for better navigation of vacationers. The created winter map perfectly fulfilled its task and became not only a good way to navigate the resort, but also a beautiful source of information. Therefore, after a while, a summer card was created. It was already necessary to show summer trails and recreation areas. This is a wonderful project and below you can see how it was created.
