NeoYokoto is an American world-driven streetwear brand set within a fictional metropolis inspired by the street cultures of Tokyo and New York. The brand is intentionally niche and narrative-based, built around a city that serves as the foundation for its identity rather than just a traditional fashion label. It is a participatory fashion universe where streetwear becomes world-building, style becomes storytelling, and everyone recognises their place in humanity’s interconnected narrative. They’re not just selling clothes. They’re inviting you to build a city.

The city of NeoYokoto was created as a place where different creatives and subcultures intersect, clash, and coexist. Within this universe, visual icons represent different factions or groups in the city, each with its own aesthetic, beliefs, and graffiti-style signature visuals.
In NeoYokoto, these factions represent different fashion subcultures within streetwear:
– Grunge / Alt — late ’90s–early 2000s alternative and grunge influences
– Hip-Hop / Urban — ’90s hip-hop fashion and street heritage
– Skate Culture — skate-driven streetwear
– Dark Alternative / Rock — emo, metal, and rock-inspired visuals
– Y2K / Pop — bright, playful, pop-forward aesthetics
The goal is for each faction icon to be instantly recognizable, culturally specific, and visually distinct, while still feeling cohesive within the overall NeoYokoto brand system.
