The primary design objective was to create an enveloping interior environment, allowing visitors to gradually detach from the outside world and enter a state of stillness. This idea is expressed through spatial continuity, fluid forms, soft lighting scenarios, and the tactile interplay of materials. Walls, furniture, textures, and light are brought together into a unified sensory environment, where enveloping becomes not merely a decorative device, but the fundamental principle shaping the interior.
Located in Vietnam, the project responds to the tropical climate, with its bright light and visually rich surroundings. The compact size of the rooms became the basis for creating an intimate yet visually deep interior. Through the use of light, materials, perspective, and spatial transitions, the design creates a sense of expansion beyond the physical boundaries of the space.
I worked independently on this project in collaboration with a Vietnamese construction team, overseeing the process from concept to execution. I am particularly drawn to conceptual and unconventional projects, where design becomes a way to explore new sensations and forms of interaction with space.
