This story is about a girl Miko, who fell into a coma at the age of 15, so throughout the comic we can see her at different ages. In my view, a coma is a loss of consciousness in which a person's body does not react to the external environment, but this does not mean that it cannot feel, so I depicted a tree with eyes. The eyes represent people, doctors who are watching Mika. And also the vine wrapped around Miki's body makes it clear that a person cannot control his body.
A little bit about the location. I wanted to portray that a person is neither in heaven nor in hell, which means we use a term used in medieval Catholic theology-Limbo. The buds of the Lycoris in the work are also depicted for a reason. In the countries of the Rising Sun, it is considered to be the "flower of death". I also wanted to add a little bit about the mysterious character who did not give his name. The name was not given because, that "death" is called differently in every country of the world. It is not known how many times Mika has already talked to this character, but when Mika realizes where she is, she comes out of the coma. Mika came out of a coma at the age of 19.
