Иллюстрация для книги, выпускаемой «Первым каналом» о российских сериалах. Требовалось создать динамичную многофигурную композицию с главными героями детективного сериала «Ищейка». Центральный герой сериала - сильная и независимая женщина-следователь, которая пытается устроить свою жизнь, но в конечном итоге всегда выбирает работу.
An illustration for an upcoming book published by «Pervyi canal» about Russian TV series. It was necessary to create a dynamic multi-figure composition with the main characters of the detective series «Bloodhound». The central character of the series is a strong and independent female investigator who tries to arrange her life, but in the end always chooses a job.
Работу нужно было сделать в сжатые сроки, в общей сложности на иллюстрацию ушло 10 рабочих дней. Сначала я изучила статьи по сериалу, выделила главных персонажей, разобралась какие у них между собой отношения, собрала референсы с персонажами по папкам. Затем сделала серию набросков с героиней, эскиз с общей композицией, где расставила остальных персонажей соответственно их ролям (мужчина с пистолетом предаёт героиню в одном из сезонов, поэтому его фигура повёрнута к остальным спиной).
The work had to be done in a short time, and it took a total of 10 working days to complete the illustration. First, I studied the articles on the series, identified the main characters, figured out what their relationships were, and collected references from the characters in folders. Then made a series of sketches, a sketch with a general composition, where I arranged the rest of the characters according to their roles (a man with a gun betrays the Bloodhound in one of the seasons, so his figure is turned away from the rest).
Сериал снят как мелодрама с элементами комедии, поэтому герои находятся на месте преступления, но диагонали лент ведут нас к «уликам» - торту и туфельке - как бы к чувственной части сильной и независимой героини. Также это отсылка к тому, как с помощью сладкого Ищейка справляется со стрессом на работе: ящик стола в её кабинете обычно забит шоколадками.
The series was shot as a melodrama with comedy elements, so the characters are at the crime scene, but the diagonals of the tapes lead us to the «evidence» - the cake and the shoe - as if to the sensual part of a strong and independent Bloodhound. It is also a reference to how she copes with stress at work with the help of sweets: usually the desk drawer in her office is filled with chocolates.
