The "Dark Script" project is a synthesis of black metal aesthetics and traditional Slavic ligature in the context of lettering. Each lettering piece is an independent work of art, interpreting iconic texts of Russian literature. By merging the expressive aggression of black metal typography with the mystical fluidity of ancient Russian ligature, the project offers a new perspective on the perception of classic literary works.
Black metal is characterized by brutal, chaotic typography that evokes dark aesthetics, defiance of traditional forms, and mysticism. Slavic ligature, on the other hand, represents an organic system of scripts where letters are interconnected through complex compositional solutions, creating a sense of flow and deep symbolism. Проект "Тёмные письмена" — это синтез эстетики блэк-метала и традиционной славянской вязи в контексте леттеринга. Каждый леттеринг — это самостоятельное художественное произведение, интерпретирующее знаковые тексты русской литературы. Соединяя экспрессивную агрессию блэк-метал шрифтов с мистической пластикой древнерусской вязи, проект открывает новый взгляд на восприятие классических литературных произведений.
Блэк-метал характеризуется брутальной, хаотичной типографикой, отсылающей к темной эстетике, противостоянию традиционным формам и мистицизму.
