The main idea of the project

This project explores the inner world of contemporary youth through a visual dialog between the external (the city) and the internal (creativity, emotions, culture).

The double exhibition symbolizes the fusion of the individual with the urban space - 

how the metropolis becomes part of identity.

Zin collages are visual diaries revealing what happens "inside": dreams, inspirations, 

the noise of music and pages of book.​​​​​​​

Double exposure as a visual metaphor of identity. The technique of double exposure perfectly conveys the duality of the inner and outer world. 

The fusion of the human silhouette with the urban landscape creates an image of a personality shaped by the environment -  the city literally "grows" into the​​​​​​​ hero as part of his es. This is a poetic and profound metaphor, visually simple, but filled with multilayered meaning: the city as a reflection of inner pressure;

architecture as an emotional background; light accents as inner states.

Double exposure makes the inner - visible, without direct narration. 

 It is a way of telling about a person through image rather than words.

 Zine collage - as a form of visual diar   Zine culture (zine culture) has always been associated with self-expression, creative independence and DIY aesthetics.
Collages in this style show the inner world of the hero:

his thoughts, dreams, musical tastes, literary quotes;

fragmented phrases, textures, elements of culture and nostalgia.

It is the visual equivalent of a stream of consciousness -  chaotic but sincere.
Collage gives the opportunity to assemble identity as a mosaic,  showing what it is made of.

Combination of techniques - visual contrast of the external and internal

Using both techniques in the same project creates an emotional structure:

Double exposure is the form, what the world sees.

Zin collage is the content, what we see ourselves when we close our eyes.

It works like a visual diptych: each character is revealed in two layers - outside and inside. 

This approach makes the project more layered, intimate and universal.
