MEKUWELT is a project about exploring form.
About how objects can exist beyond function, beyond time. Sensations, textures, balance.
The works of MEKUWELT are created through a digital process — not drawn, not sculpted — but assembled through observation, repetition, and algorithmic logic. This is not a copy of reality, but an interpretation of it.
The website is built around immersing the viewer in the artist’s unique worldview and visual language. Interacting with it feels like a subtle transformation of reality — pulling you deeper into the context of each collection.
Since the artist prefers to stay silent and let the work speak, we decided to present the content as an album: a curated, gallery-like experience where the user can explore the full breadth of the collections.
With such a minimalist layout, we spent a long time looking for a way to break free from the typical “related works” pattern at the end of a longread. That’s how we came up with the album strip — a horizontal scroll of collections that’s always accessible, no matter where you are in the text. It reflects the artist’s method and helps you navigate intuitively and efficiently.tions, textures, balance. Each piece feels like an artifact from a parallel reality.
