Bammes Art
Terminal Design developed the brand identity for the professional accessories brand.
The name uses the name of the German painter, anatomist and teacher of plastic anatomy
Gottfried Bammes (1920-2007).
The Bammes system of drawing is the basis for classical academic drawing in institutions
of higher learning around the world. The product line includes accessories used by artists
and allied creative professionals. The main positions are sketchbooks and sketchbooks.
In designing the logo, we relied on simple graphic solutions, combining the idea of live drawing
by hand and drawing with the use of classical drawing tools: a compass and a ruler - the basics
of the system of constructive drawing, the very methodology developed by Gottfried Bammes.
As a result, we got a logo, composed in a certain way of ovals and lines, which became the basis
for the visual style of the brand.
The line also includes items such as tubes, file folders, pencils, souvenirs, and merchandise.
The graphic design is based on the idea of demonstrating the Bammes method, which
is the framework drawing of the structure of objects, the skeleton and the human body.
The construction of letters in Bammes name, font anatomy, sign construction, variations with the
contour thickness and repetition of power lines became the main principles in the brand identity.
