Like most kids of my generation in the CIS, I started watching Star Wars with the prequel trilogy. For me, as a kid, it was the presence of a bunch of lightsabers that naturally hooked me! And all the complaints about “Some kind of politics in the movie,
not so good CG and oh my god, what a terrible Jar-Jar Binks” passed my ears.
I watched the original trilogy when I was a kid. Naturally, I liked it less because it didn’t have as many sword duels. (Shame on me) It was only years later that I realized the excitement of the original trilogy and the second time
I watched those three films with pleasure.
The Mandalorian is a delight. A rapture of love for the universe, when it seemed like Disney wanted to kill the universe off... Wow! Jon Favreau is awesome.
The new season was released on March 1, and I'm taking what I could learn from CG
and dropping a fake "the Mandalorian" teaser trailer on you as a tribute to a universe
(I'm getting corny) whose messages of good and bad, behavior patterns, about friends, about actions, etc. have shaped me.
