Introduction

I decided to create a series of five posters in a unified visual style over five days, dedicating exactly one hour to each piece. This time constraint became a way to focus on ideas and composition rather than getting caught in endless revisions or the pursuit of a perfect solution. The project explores how speed, limitations, and consistency can shape a visual language and influence the creative process.

Context

This project was conceived as an experiment in working within strict constraints. Instead of relying on lengthy research and multiple iterations, the focus was placed on rapid decision-making and exploring ideas through a series of outcomes.

Exploration

The project investigated the possibilities of typography, contrast, rhythm, and composition. Each poster built upon the previous one, gradually expanding the visual language established at the beginning of the series.

Outcome

The project resulted in a cohesive series of five posters and demonstrated that constraints can become a tool for discovery rather than a limitation. Working within strict time limits encouraged faster decision-making, strengthened visual intuition, and helped maintain focus on what matters most—the idea and the visual message. The experiment reinforced the value of consistent practice and showed how creative limitations can lead to more expressive and intentional design solutions.
