I've been looking for my Mary for a very long time, I've done a lot of sketches. I didn't want to make her ugly, she should be perfect!
The first meeting with Mary. She enters the Banks house. All her possessions are a valise and an umbrella.
The Banks family just needs a babysitter, because the old one disappeared without warning anyone!
The wonderful doggie living next door also did not immediately appear in my imagination.
But his shaggy friend was drawn almost immediately. He's a mongrel bully, probably flea-bitten, but a good friend.
And here's Miss Lark! She is not young, loves beads, brooches, bracelets and her Andrew. I imagined her like this.
I didn't know that the king cobra is a relative of Mary Poppins! And you? It probably didn't matter when I was a kid.
And this is a cow that has been dancing for seven days because a star has caught on its horns. The cow appears on the cover. Like Mary Poppins, she was lucky enough to fly, so she belongs here.
