This poster is inspired by the anime Asura (2012), which deeply impressed me with its bleak atmosphere and powerful message. It tells the story of a boy who was born into a living hell—a world consumed by war and famine, where humans easily turn into beasts.
At the center stands Asura, a child whose life is nothing but a relentless fight for survival. He kills and eats simply to stay alive because the world has left him no choice. To the left is the girl who tried to save him, but in the end, she perished, unwilling to become a monster herself. Above him is the monk who showed him that being human is more than just hunger and survival. In the background, starved villagers, driven to madness, devour a lifeless body. And at the bottom, swords are pointed at Asura—because people fear him and want him dead.
