Character redesign – from rough sketch to stylized version
The task was to turn a black & white sketch into a full-color illustration with a look close to modern 3D-inspired stylization — a blend between cartoon aesthetics and the visual language seen in Pixar or Disney-style concept art for games

Working from a layered draft, I adapted each part individually — refining shapes, lighting and expression to match the soft, stylized aesthetic

The central character is a captivating Arab dancer, frozen in a fluid moment as she throws gleaming golden coins. Her elegant motion fills the scene with life and rhythm

The main character stands out from the overall cartoon style. She is a striking Arab dancer, created with more detail and expression — as is common in animation, where main characters differ from background and secondary figures. The goal was to make her expressive and lively, though perhaps a bit too much emphasis was placed on sensuality
Therefore, I also created a version of her in the required style — more cartoonish and aligned with the project’s brief. Wishes are one thing, but it's better to stick to the overall style

This is just a shortened version of the process — without all the intermediate steps, color correction, cropping, detailing, and other behind-the-scenes aspects
