Minusinsk Park

About the Project

This project reimagines a linear park along the river in Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai. More than just a promenade, it is a platform for urban life across all seasons. The core of the design is an event square, whose concept draws from the region's maritime heritage — a lighthouse-inspired observation tower and canopy structures echoing a historic market square, all anchored by a central coniferous tree.

The park weaves together active and leisure zones — from sports and dog-walking areas to quiet waterfront paths with direct access to the water. A primary transit route connects these diverse spaces, while secondary walking trails invite slower exploration. By integrating the river as a year-round focal point — accessible in summer and visually present in winter — the project transforms the shoreline into a living, breathing part of the city's social fabric.
