About project:


Developing an online store for organic products from Japan with a focus on Eastern philosoph and modern technologies.

Daigo’s products are not cheap, so it was necessary to present them in an original way. Not just trying to sell, but immersing the user in the story of the product’s origin, the recipe of which was found in the ancient writings of Buddhist monks.

For the homepage, we developed a video with the aim of conveying the endless cycle, lightness, and balance that the product should be associated with.

After testing the already launched site, it became clear that we needed to add a second theme (dark one). Since the light site met the needs of only one category of users. And so that another category could feel close to the brand, we added a theme changer.

In general, the dark theme is closely integrated into our lives. Since the site must be adapted not

only to different devices, but also to the different needs and preferences of the user.

The history of the company began in 1982, but the study of metabiotics and lactobacilli began almost a century before that. Therefore, we decided to show the whole story from the first scientific discovery to the present day. On this page we used different transitions between stages using national Japanese drawings, paintings and photographs of scientists. But since most of the photographs were taken a long time ago, and cameras at that time were not at the peak of their capabilities, we needed the help of neural networks to improve the quality.

For future partners of the company, we decided to make a non-template page. On it they can not only study the product, download catalogs, but also through the content make sure that the product is natural. As the main object we chose a branching tree, which encapsulates several meanings at once. The branches are those business partners who, carrying Daigo products (glass spheres, an element of the key visual of the main website), prosper and set new directions of growth for themselves and Daigo as a whole. The tree itself is an association with a strong stable business, which serves as a basis for the development of partners.

For this project we made a lot of 3D renderings. We have collected 3D products and different compositions with them (with stones and with roots). We also animated not only the balls on the first screen, but also made a couple of commercials so that the company could use them in their advertising campaigns. One of these advertisements appeared on a huge media facade in Moscow.
